At Stand Beside Them, we believe meaningful change begins with the right partnership. Our approach combines professional coaching, personalized guidance, and a deep commitment to those who have served and the families who stand beside them.
What makes SBT unique is the experience and dedication of our coaching team. Our coaches are credentialed professionals who have completed training through International Coaching Federation (ICF) accredited programs or equivalent. They bring expertise from diverse professional backgrounds and share a common passion for helping others grow, thrive, and achieve their goals.
Coaching at SBT is individualized, confidential, and centered on each participant’s priorities. Whether someone is exploring a new career, strengthening leadership skills, building a business, or navigating personal transitions, our coaches partner with them to create clarity, confidence, and forward momentum.
Another defining aspect of SBT is our national network. Today, more than 200 credentialed coaches across 46 states volunteer their time and expertise, allowing us to thoughtfully match veterans, spouses, and caregivers with a coach whose experience aligns with their goals and aspirations. These relationships often become powerful catalysts for growth and lasting change.
All coaching through Stand Beside Them is provided at no cost to participants, ensuring that veterans and military families can access high-quality professional coaching as they build their next chapter.
Behind every coaching match is a dedicated staff and leadership team committed to providing a supportive and professional experience. From the moment someone first connects with SBT, our team works closely with participants and coaches to guide the process, answer questions, and ensure a smooth and responsive experience. Our work is guided by experienced nonprofit leaders, professional coaches, and a committed Board of Directors who share a deep belief in the power of service, leadership, and community.
At its core, the SBT difference is simple: We stand beside those who have served and the families who support them, providing the tools, encouragement, and professional guidance that help turn possibility into progress.
